Controller and steering wheel
- Xbox and PlayStation controllers work according to the site. Press Home, or both sticks in, to open the site menu.
- Click inside the game once so the page has focus before you press buttons.
- Steering wheels are supported. The site guesses how a wheel steers and brakes from what the browser reports; if that is wrong, use its wheel setup to assign them.
- If the screen turns off while you play with a controller, the browser has no Wake Lock support. Keep the screen awake in your system settings.
Phones and tablets
- Tap the game's menus, or use the arrows, OK and Back buttons next to them. Touch controls appear while you drive.
- Steering can be buttons or tilt. The button in the game's top right corner switches it. Level horizon keeps the road level when you tilt.
- Control size and Menu button size have an Auto setting that sizes them for your screen.
- Full screen is on by default on phones. On an iPhone a web page cannot go full screen.
- If tilt does nothing, the browser exposes no motion sensor; switch to buttons. Phones also need a browser with WebGPU, see the not-loading page.

What is nitrous on nfsu2.xyz?
Alt. Space is the handbrake, Shift and Ctrl shift up and down with a manual gearbox, and R respawns the car.
How do I change the keys?
Use the game's own Options, then Controls. The site's F9 menu also has a Controls entry for the browser-side settings such as touch and steering.
Does a PlayStation controller work?
The site says Xbox and PlayStation controllers work. Press Home, or both sticks in, to open the site menu while playing with a controller.
How do I take a screenshot?
Press F12 while driving to enter photo mode and move the camera freely, then F12 again to take the photo. Photos appear in the Saves panel.
