Bayview is the career map. The district names are City Core, Beacon Hill, Jackson Heights, and Coal Harbor; the career opens the city in five areas because Coal Harbor is split into East and West. The original diagram below shows only that unlock sequence. It does not claim geographic positions, street connections, scale, or shop coordinates.
Open the street map and choose your task
For roads and shop locations, open EvilGames' full-size Bayview shop map, published in the author's Reveal all hidden shops section. Match junctions in your unlocked district, follow the roads to a shop dot, and enter the building to reveal it on your game map. This is a shop locator, not a hidden-race map; it includes other facilities as well as hidden shops. The schematic on this page only explains unlock order.
- Need parts? Use the street map and the garage-to-Megalow or Body/Graphics discovery routes on the shops page.
- Missing a race? Follow the active-stage SMS, recover completed-stage events from Garage > World Map, or use the PC author's hidden-race reveal option on the hidden-races page.
- Cannot open the next district? Check sponsor race counters and DVD-cover opportunities on the career-stages page. A blank road map alone does not identify the missing requirement.
What each district is for
- City Core: your garage, a car lot, a visible performance shop, five hidden shops, an airport, and the elevated Highway 27.
- Beacon Hill: the second unlock, curved roads, hotels, and a memorial park. The cited Bayview page does not give a hidden-shop count here.
- Jackson Heights: technical roads, two hidden shops (body and graphics), and a tower Fandom compares to Sutro Tower.
- Coal Harbor: East has four hidden shops and a car lot. West, the last unlock, has three hidden shops, a port, and a power plant.
Pages that go deeper
Shop types and the yellow-dot rule are on shops. Hidden events are not the same as hidden shops. Their SMS trigger and the world-map shortcut are on hidden races. Stage order is career stages.
Questions people ask
Is Bayview a real city?
No. Wikipedia and Fandom call it fictional, drawing on San Francisco and Los Angeles. Coal Harbor shares a name with a real Vancouver inlet and is still a game district.
How many hidden shops?
The cited Bayview article counts 14 across City Core (5), Jackson Heights (2), Coal Harbor East (4) and Coal Harbor West (3). Beacon Hill has no hidden-shop count in that source.
Where do I start?
City Core is open at the start and holds the only garage.
