Install a 100% save safely

A 100% save is someone else's finished career. Installing it deletes the progress in your local folder unless you copied that folder first.

Steps

  1. Close the game.
  2. Follow the save-location page and copy the folder to the desktop.
  3. Replace the files only after you know which region the upload claims.
  4. Launch, look at the garage, and restore your copy if the cars are wrong.

A smaller hammer

Extra Options can unlock cars and cash without importing a stranger's file. Built-in phrases on the cheat table add bank inside your own profile. Both leave your stage progress intact.

Where does the file go?

In %LOCALAPPDATA%\NFS Underground 2\ on Windows 10 and 11. Not next to SPEED2.EXE.

Will a US 100% file work on an EU disc?

Do not assume it. US and other regions do not share the RSX and Civic versus the 106 and Corsa. A mismatched save can show cars your disc should not have.

Does this site host the file?

No. Find a file on a mod site you already trust, or skip the download and use Extra Options.
